Hunter Hillenmeyer

Hunter is an Investment Partner at Company Ventures where he focuses on early-stage investing and lead’s the firm’s presence in Nashville and across the southeast. Prior to Company Ventures, Hunter was a Partner with Next Legacy, a $3B venture fund of funds and direct investor in the Bay Area. Hunter began his investing career at OCA Ventures in Chicago and has also held leadership roles at two VC-funded technology businesses STRIVR and Overdoc. Prior to his career in tech and venture, Hunter played 8 seasons as a linebacker for the Chicago Bears. During his tenure in the NFL, he served on the Board of the NFLPA and also earned his MBA from Northwestern’s Kellogg School of Management in a series of offseasons. Hunter is a Nashville native and earned his BA from Vanderbilt University
