Jamie Wildman

Founder & CEO

Jamie Wildman is Praxess’ Founder & CEO where he leads project management and the organization’s strategic vision and overall direction.

Jamie founded Praxess after a 20 year career at William Blair where he most recently was a Partner and Head of Merchant Banking, a platform he founded and built, leading the execution of 30 transactions where individuals invested in private equity funds and direct deals. Prior to this role, Jamie founded the firm’s family office practice, served as a senior member of the firm’s financial sponsors group and advised on M&A transactions and capital raises. Jamie joined William Blair from Bear Stearns and began his career at SG Cowen.

Jamie serves on the Board of Advisors for Vanderbilt University’s College of Arts & Science and is a Board member for Governor’s Early Literacy Foundation and Book’em. Previously, he was Board Chair for the American Red Cross of Greater Chicago, Board Chair for Bernie’s Book Bank and Treasurer and Board Member for the Gorton Community Center.

Jamie received his B.A. cum laude from Vanderbilt University and his M.B.A. with honors from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business where he has been a guest lecturer on investment banking.
